Example: Tenant is moving in and requested to meet us early at our office, which we did, we were in the office an hour early. Tenants shows up early, and our team is here meeting with him. Tenant proceeds to leave us a review for not being in the office early, when he is actually sitting in our office, on the couch, an hour before we open. Some people are just Nuts.

In today’s episode of "Why Did You Think This Was Okay?", a tenant decided their living room was the perfect spot for a commercial boiler. Yes, you read that right—a boiler designed for industrial spaces, just chilling (or, rather, heating) in the middle of their home.

The result? The excessive heat and moisture did a number on the ceiling, softening it to the point of collapse. Oh, and let’s not forget the lovely mold colony that formed as a bonus. Because nothing says “home sweet home” like structural damage and fungal growth.

Here’s a tip: boilers belong in designated utility spaces, not your living room. Next time, consult a professional before your home becomes the next set piece for a disaster movie.
